The Calm After is the ninth episode of season two of Survivor, and the twenty-second episode overall. It will be the first episode of the second half of the season, and was released on June 29, 2013.
Plot[]
After the final confrontation between the groups is over, the group restablishes itself on the factory. Some members of the group decide to look for supplies on a nearby town.
Episode[]
-Zombies pile themselves against the factory`s gates, trying to enter the grounds. One is shot straight to the head, and falls down.-
Moe: Much better, Ryder.
-Ryder smiles.-
Ryder: Still. crossbows are better.
-Ryder and Moe walk back to their base on the factory, passing by the graves.-
-Inside the factory, Nathan. Evans, Karina, Tank and Diego are all soing their duties. They all sit down for lunch.-
-Nobody talks.-
Moe: Any news today?
-Karina shakes her head.-
Karina: No movement.
Evans: A month has passed already. We know anything or heard nothing about the people that escaped Chems.
Diego: Let`s hope their dead. All that matters is that Cole is dead.
Karina: You went through a lot with him, right?
-Diego nods.-
Diego: I wish not to talk about him so much. That mutherfucker. I kept to my word with Eric.
Nathan: I just wanted to tell people that my other self hasn`t come out ever since Cole`s down.
Moe: That`s good improvement.
Nathan: Still, that doesn`t mean that he won`t come out. I think that know, every little thing can make him come. If it happens, and he tries to kill Karina again, kill him.
Karina: What?
Nathan: I don`t want to get anybody hurt! I can`t let it happen.
Evans: We kept you locked out the other time...
Nathan: This time, shoot me. You know how dangerous he can be. Please, do it.
Moe: We won`t.
Nathan: I warned you.
Tank: Changing the subject, Nathan, Karina and I `ve been planning to go for supplies to the town. We`re getting out of water, food and medicine.
-Moe nods.-
Moe: Also bring wood. Diego, Ryder, Evans and I will guard the factory here.
-Later that day, Nathan, Tank and Karina are leaving the factory to go for supplies to the town.-
Moe: The last time a group left, it didn`t ended quite well. Take care this time. Be back. Be safe.
Nathan: We will. It`s different times now. Cole is out.
-Nathan, Tank and Karina turn around and leave the factory.-
Ryder: Something tells me we won`t be seeing them again.
Moe: I don`t really know if we will. But I think something tells me they won`t be seeing us again.
-Nathan, Tank and Karina are arriving to the town.-
Nathan: This town is ruined.
-The town seems empty. Its a tipical interior small town, with simple houses, a small hospital, school, police station. A quite happy town until the world turned around. Most of the houses have been abandoned and were rotting away, almost every window had been broken. You could almost imagine a happy family living in one of the houses before it all started. It caused sadness, and longliness.-
Karina: A chill comes down to me when I see all that was lost.
Nathan: There`s much more to win.
Tank: This people were murdered, or they fled the town. It seems it`s completely abandoned, seems like Chernobyl.
Karina: And no sign of zombies either.
Tank: That`s weird. Stay on alert for any movement, and search for a store.
-Nathan, Tank and Karina slowly walk their way across the town, without coming to any zombie.-
-Karina suddenly stops as she hears a noise and raises her gun at the noise.-
Karina: Something`s out there.
-The three raise their guns, and hear a noise coming from inside a house besides them.-
-A zombie slowly makes its way towards them. Karina walks to him and stabs a knife right on his skull, as he falls down to the ground.-
Karina: Well, that was easy.
Nathan: Karina, behind you!
-Karina turns around to see a crowd of zombies lurching towards her.-
Karina: Oh, shit!
-Karina starts putting zombies down, and Tank and Nathan come to her aid.-
-Most of the zombies are down when one of them bites Tank on his arm. He screams and kills the zombie. Nathan and Karina put the rest of the zombies down.-
-Tank screams. The zombie had bitten him between the hand and the elbow, and blood continued bluring out.-
Karina: Tank, relax!
Tank: I don`t wanna turn, I don`t wanna turn, I don`t wanna turn! Kill me! KILL ME!
Karina: There`s only one thing to do.
-Nathan nods.-
Karina: I`m sorry, buddy.
-Karina grabs her knife and cuts Tanks arm right on the elbow. Tanks screams get louder.-
Nathan: We need to put pressure on the wound, get it cleaned and wrapped up now!
-Tank holds his arm.-
Karina: Quick! There`s the store!
-Karina and Nathan hold Tank and they walk to the store and get in.-
Nathan: Quick, get something to clean the wound up!
-A sound of a rifle getting loaded is heard. The three of them raise up their heads.-
-A young, beatiful woman is pointing a rifle at them, she`s standing right besides a fat, bald man.-
Woman: Hold it up there, or I swear I`ll kill you all.
-End.-
